Our preferred ear wax removal method is  ear microsuction, 

providing a safe method for earwax removal, including hard or impacted wax.

Our process is designed for your comfort, ensuring minimal contact with the sensitive ear canal and maintaining visibility throughout the procedure with loupes.

​

We do also use dry instruments and water irrigation depending on the location and type of wax found in addition to the size and shape of the ear canal. 

​

We do ask that you use olive oil for at least four days prior to your appointment. 

 

Appointments last approximately 15-25 minutes and are held at our location on Woodlands Road in Ansdell for a fee of £60. If no wax is found, a £30 assessment fee applies,

If you are not sure if you have wax then an otoscopy appointment may be a good option -

you can opt for our £25 otoscopy-only appointment to determine your individual needs. If wax is found a wax removal is needed then £10 is deducted at this appointment ( making the wax removal appointment £50 instead of £60)

We do also offer limited home visits if needed at a cost of £80 - due to the nature of these visits special considerations are needed .
